Instructors
We at Rocky Poonawalas are proud to have instructors trained to give their best to the students. Our instructors are so passionate about teaching and testimony to that is the rigorous training they undergo to reach to this stage. Rocky Poonawala, himself selects the students looking at the potential talent in them and trains them to teach. Knowing how to dance and knowing how to teach dance to others are two different ball games. Thus not every good dancer can teach well. They need to be trained to take a class and understand every students' nature and shortcomings inorder to see that the students learns the style the correct way. Hence be assured that these instructors really deserve to be instructors to teach these dance styles. To know more about instructor training check out for that section in 'Our Specials'. After learning all dance styles themselves and getting trained to handle different issues and nuances in a class, they make it a point that at the end of the class every student has learnt the dance, the way it should be.

The Founder of Rocky Poonawalas . Rocky himself has trained abroad in all styles of latin & Ballroom dances . He has worked with well known directors , music directors , artists , from the Bollywood industry and trained himself in all forms like Salsa , cha cha, Jive, Rumba, Samba, Tango , Paso doble, waltz , hustle , Foxtrot , Bollywood , Hip Hop , Kathak . Hence making him a choreographer who comes up with concepts and ideas that make you want to see more. His teaching abilities are far beyond excellence as he feels each student is a subject and has to be read and understood differently.He reads every student from his soul and considers Rocky Poonawalas to be his Temple |

An Architect by profession . Ketaki is Synonymous to Rocky Poonawalas . Learning and growing with Rocky Himself Ketaki takes care of the Training and Administration at our school . We call her the Back Bone of Rocky Poonawalas. |

Shamik has grown as a latin dancer and is now our Bollywood instructor. Acting is his hobby and dance is his passion . He believes that expressions and techniques are important in Bollywood and hip hop and makes sure everyone gets it..We call him The Little Rockstar |
